the management of business and administrative support functions of the campus

RESPONSIBILITIES
As the chief financial
officer, directs and oversees the institution’s business and other support
functions to include Budget and Payroll; Fiscal Operations/Comptroller; Human
Resources; Campus Police; Facilities Maintenance, Operations and Utilities;
Facilities Planning and Projects; Conference Operations; Administrative
Computing, Technology and Information Services; and quality deployment within
Administrative Services. Ensures
business transactions and policies and procedures meet the University’s short-
and long-term goals and objectives. The
Vice Chancellor is responsible to the Executive President and Treasurer for
areas of responsibility overseen by the Treasurer under state laws and Trustee
Bylaws and responsible to the Chancellor for daily management of activities as
assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree required.
Master’s degree preferred. Minimum of seven years of progressively responsible experience and
accomplishments in administrative and fiscal affairs in a University or
comparable setting. Excellent
planning, communication and leadership skills; strong background of financial
planning and fiscal operations; strong
knowledge of University administrative support operations; the ability to
develop and sustain effective working relationships with internal and external
constituencies; and a record of professional achievement and high integrity.
