RE: Special Merit Pay
President Jischke approved a special merit pay policy authorizing
units to use their own available funds to pay eligible faculty and staff extra
merit in the form of a one-time bonus that will not be a permanent base-salary
adjustment. Awards for 2004-2005 will be
made on
In accordance with
the President’s policy, at the Purdue Calumet campus each Vice Chancellor’s
area may allocate up to one percent of its budgeted salary base for this form
of compensation. Awards may be made to
no more than 25 percent of the faculty and staff in each eligible employment category
(Faculty, AP Staff, CS Staff). On our campus, bonus compensation will be
