RE: Class Scheduling Policy

The Constitution of the Senate under Section IV Powers and Responsibilities of the Faculty, Item B Authority states that the faculty has authority “to establish Purdue University Calumet’s academic calendar and the policies for scheduling classes”. We believe that faculty are an integral part of the scheduling processes. The Academic Support Services Committee proposes that a task force be set up to create a scheduling policy. The task force will be chaired by John Coffey and members determined by the nominating committee.
