Justification:

This course and the curriculum are based on the latest and most up to date information in regards to IT curriculum accreditation by ABET.

Proposed:

ITS 472 Network Design and Implementation: (Pattern 2 hours lecture, 2 hours lab, 3 hours credit) (Prerequisite ITS 470) This course covers the design and implementation of enterprise level networks. Topics include network topologies, protocols, technologies, services, design and architecture, and implementation of the network design.  Extensive laboratory exercises are assigned.

 

Impact on Students:

This course will focus and better prepare the information technology student within the ABET accreditation guidelines.
