Justification:

This course and the curriculum are based on the latest and most up to date information in regards to IT curriculum accreditation by ABET.

ITS 364 Database modeling and implementation: ( Pattern 2 hours  lecture, 2 hours lab, 3 hours credit )(Prerequisite ITS 360)

This is an advanced course that covers the design of distributed databases, data modeling, normalization rules, query languages, layout and design of forms, transaction management, and implementation of the database design.  Extensive laboratory exercises are assigned.

 

Impact on Students:

This course will focus and better prepare the information technology student within the ABET accreditation guidelines.
