Justification:

This course and the curriculum are based on the latest and most up to date information in regards to IT curriculum accreditation by ABET.

ITS 356 Securing Wireless Systems: ( Pattern 2 hours  lecture, 2 hours lab, 3 hours credit )(Prerequisite ITS 250)

This course covers the implementation of secure wireless systems and computing systems. Topics, intrusion detection, physical security, communications security, and encryption with wireless systems.  Extensive laboratory exercises are assigned.

 

Impact on Students:

This course will focus and better prepare the information technology student within the ABET accreditation guidelines.
