Justification:

This course and the curriculum are based on the latest and most up to date information in regards to IT curriculum accreditation by ABET.

ITS 352 Disaster recovery and planning: (Pattern 2 hours lab, 2 hours lecture, 3 hours credit) (Prerequisite ITS 350)

This course covers risk management and business continuity. Topics include disaster recovery strategies, mitigation strategies, risk analysis, and development of contingency plans for unexpected outages and component failures.  Extensive laboratory exercises are assigned.

 

Impact on Students:

This course will focus and better prepare the information technology student within the ABET accreditation guidelines.
