Justification:

This course and the curriculum are based on the latest and most up to date information in regards to IT curriculum accreditation by ABET.

ITS 350 Systems Assurance: ( Pattern 2 hours  lecture, 2 hours lab, 3 hours credit )(Prerequisite ITS 250)

This course covers the implementation of systems assurance with computing systems. Topics include confidentiality, integrity, authentication, non-repudiation, intrusion detection, physical security, and encryption.  Extensive laboratory exercises are assigned.

 

Impact on Students:

This course will focus and better prepare the information technology student within the ABET accreditation guidelines.
