This course and the curriculum are based on the latest and most up to date information in regards to IT curriculum accreditation by ABET.

ITS 250 Fundamentals of Information Assurance: (Pattern 2 hours lab, 2 hours lecture, 3 hours credit) (Prerequisite ITS 170 and ITS 135)

This course covers security mechanisms, fundamental aspects, operational issues, policy, attacks, security domains, forensics, information states, security services, threat analysis, vulnerabilities, and other topics.

 

Impact on Students:

This course will focus and better prepare the information technology student within the ABET accreditation guidelines.
