Justification:

This course and the curriculum are based on the latest and most up to date information in regards to IT curriculum accreditation by ABET.

ITS 240 Programming Fundamentals: ( Pattern 2 hours  lecture, 2 hours lab, 3 hours credit ) (Prerequisite MA 205)

This course covers fundamental data structures, fundamental programming constructs, object-oriented programming, algorithms and problem-solving, event-driven programming, recursion, and other topics.

 

Impact on Students:

This course will focus and better prepare the information technology student within the ABET accreditation guidelines.
