Document Subject: Add OLS 485 Leadership for Team Development to the PUC master course list.
Justification: The course, currently offered at W. Lafayette, is needed here. Specific feedback from the OLS Advisory Board is that OLS graduates MUST be able to work in, understand, and lead teams. Teams are now the predominant form of organizational structure in use today. This course answers this need by providing students with the skills to understand teams, be able to work more effectively in teams, and to lead teams.

OLS 485 Leadership for Team Development
Class 3, cr. 3. Prerequisite: OLS 375 and 376.
An in-depth study of self-directed work teams and team processes in the work setting with a view to understanding team functions under varying task conditions. Especially emphasized will be the leadership of teams for effective performance and maximum member satisfaction. This course deals extensively with maintenance and task behaviors of team members.
