Change of prerequisite: MGMT 333- TOTAL QUALITY MANAGEMENT.

Justification:  This is a course in the Human Resources Option of the B.A. in the Business program.  For satisfactory progress in the program the students should have an appropriate background in management that is provided by BA 230 (Principles of Management).  The current prerequisites for the MGMT 333 are not part of the B.A. in the Business program.

This course focuses on the management culture,           Same as current

develop a total quality orientation.  The course

bridges quantitative, behavioral, and strategic

concepts for designing organizations to be dynamic,

integrated systems whose outputs are monitored for

quality and continuously improved.  Not open to

students with credit in EIT  378.

 

Impact on Students:           Students in the B.A. in Business program will be able to take MGMT 333 having completed a prerequisite course that is relevant and part of their program.
