Create a new course: MGMT 525 Accounting Practice.

 

Justification:             Accounting practice is a required course in the Master of Accountancy.  It has been offered as a MGMT 590 for several years.

                                                                                                                                                                                                Prerequisite: A grade of C or better in MGMT

                                                                   351, MGMT 404, MGMT 406, and MGMT 407.

                                                                   This course presents a review of the various

                                                                   accounting, legal, and regulatory subjects

                                                                   expected to be tested on the uniform CPA

                                                                   exam.  Topics covered include financial

                                                                   accounting and reporting, auditing, business

                                                                   environment and concepts, and business

                                                                   regulation.
