Subject: |
Modify the Business Options in the B.A. Business Program.
|
Justification: |
Changes in the course sequences for the business options will improve and refine these options. A change in the title of one option will clarify and properly categorize the option.
|
Key Features: |
Students completing the business major in the B.A. Business program select one of three business options. The option is a six course sequence with a specialized focus.
One course, OBHR 431, is removed from the options as it is viewed by the faculty in the OBHR area as similar in content to BA 231.
The Business Organization option is renamed the Human Resources option to clarify the focus of the option.
Recommended courses listed for these options have been updated and revised. No new courses are created and no course revisions are involved. This is a re-arrangement of existing courses into the options.
