The document proposes a new course in the early childhood program of the behavioral sciences department: Internship in Early Childhood Settings |
|||
Justification:
There are a number of students in a variety of programs who are not interested in classroom
teaching who might wish to extend their understanding of young children. This course will provide those students with a practical experience that builds on knowledge of early childhood development, but does not entail the entire set of prerequisites required for traditional practicum courses.
