Justification:
The course serves as the departmental Freshman Experience, since it introduces majors to the
Disciplines of art, literature, music, and philosophy.

One specially designated section of Philosophy
106 Freshman Experience course will be
offered each fall semester to allow our
freshman majors to meet this requirement.
