Subject: Adding additional prerequisites to ENGL307/COM307, Written and Oral Communication for Engineers.

Justification: In order for students to be able to write and speak about topics in their fields, they need to have taken at least basic engineering, English, and communication courses previously.

Current: Prerequisite: English 104

Proposed: Prerequisites:

A. English 104

B. COM 114

C. ECE 275 and 370

or ME 305 and either ME 320 or CE 273

 

Impact on Students: None. They will not enroll in the course until their 6th semester.
