Subject: New Course: BHS 490, Special Topics in Human Development and Family Studies. Adoption of an undergraduate level variable title/variable credit course in Human Development and Family Studies allows the program greater flexibility to meet student needs.
Justification:
There is no special topics course for the Human Development and
Family Studies program as yet. This 400 level course would provide
a flexible opportunity to design courses to meet the needs of HDFS
students, and of post baccalaureate students who want additional
professional development. The course allows for independent
study in the new program of Human Development and Family Studies,
and encourages the program to experiment with new courses for
possible adoption.
