The Purdue University Calumet Theatre Company was formed in 1964 by Professor Maurice “Bud” Dixon and has had a rich history of diverse
productions and enthusiastic student involvement. The Theatre Company has had many accolades and successes throughout the years, one of which is a
Lifetime Achievement Award from the Northwest Indiana Excellence in Theatre Foundation. The Company is still going strong with new plays being produced and directed by Instructor Coyra Kennedy Channing among others. |
The Archives and Special Collections of the Library put together a display of playbills, pictures, props and other items, some of which have been reproduced here. Please contact the Archives and Special Collections Office for more information. The office is located in Room SUL236 in the southwest corner of the Library on the second floor of the Student Union and Library. The office hours are 11:00 A. M. to 3:00 P.M., Monday through Friday. Also, contact the PUC Communications Department for information on the Theatre Company and upcoming productions. |
