POLICIES AND PROCEDURES FOR ACADEMIC PROMOTION AND TENURE
[Supercedes Chancellor's Memorandum No. A-187, dated August 28, 1989]
At its meeting of December 1999, the University Senate approved Senate Document 99-11 Promotion Procedures, and at its meeting of September 6, 2000 the University Senate approved Senate Document 00-04 Tenure Procedures. I approve these recommendations of the University Senate on promotion and tenure procedures, and declare them in effect immediately.
