Re: Lake Area United Way Campus Campaign

I have asked C. Clifton Chancey and Barbara Synos to co-chair this year's United Way Campaign on campus. They have recruited a fine team to assist them in carrying out what we hope will be another successful effort in support of community needs.

"The way we care…Community by Community," is the theme for the 2000-2001 campaign. Our Purdue Calumet monetary goal is $22,000 with a Lake Area United Way goal of $6,000,000. In addition, we again seek to increase the level of participation by our employees.

Lake Area United Way continues to make it possible for you to designate specific recipient organizations to receive your contribution. I ask you to support this worthwhile community service effort.
