SUBJECT: Dissolution of the Council of Faculty Delegates

The following resolution is offered to bring closure to the existence of the Purdue University Council of Faculty Delegates and initiate the Faculty Senate.

Whereas, The Council of Faculty Delegates has served as the official representative body of the faculty of Purdue University Calumet, and

Whereas, As a result of the University’s re-organizational restructuring, the Council of Faculty Delegates as that representative group of faculty will complete its work at the end of this current semester, and

Whereas, A new constitution and accompanying by-laws have been adopted, now therefore,

Be it resolved, that upon approval of this resolution, the Council of Faculty Delegates shall herewith be dissolved and all powers and responsibilities for faculty governance shall reside with the Purdue University Calumet Faculty Senate.
