RE:    Recommendation to Continue the Membership of the
       ad hoc Committee on Promotion and Tenure.

The Faculty Affairs Committee of the Council of Faculty Delegates recommends the continuation of the present membership of the ad hoc Committee on Promotion and Tenure.  It is the thinking of the Faculty Affairs Committee that continuity in the membership is of greater value to the operation of this committee than is change in membership.
