On November 6, 1995, the Council of Faculty Delegates approved Council Document 95-19Rev General Education Requirements A. Basic Skills.  On March 4, 1996, the Council of Faculty Delegates affirmed its action of November 6, 1995, in approving Council Document 96-1.  That action required that Council Document 96-1 be submitted to a vote of the Faculty.  A vote "to accept" upholds Council support of the General Education Basic Skills requirement.
